BEAT THE BRASS

Educational Shows

Since 1991, the Solid Brass educational programs have been touring the schools of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Mexico under the auspices of Project Impact, an Arts in Education Resource.  The music selections in this book are from four of the varied programs that Solid Brass performs.  All of the shows include a review of the trumpet, trombone, tuba and horn and a description of sound production.  Various percussion instruments are presented for the richness in color they provide musically.
